My work is grounded in a social justice framework and shaped by deep respect for lived experience. I work with clients from diverse and marginalized backgrounds, including those navigating chronic illness, disability, and identity-related stress. I value transparency, collaboration, and setting goals that feel realistic and humane. I am trained in Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, parts-work and humanistic narrative therapy. We will use any combination of these approaches to make changes in your life so that your days feel easier, more meaningful and more aligned with your values.
I'm culturally Deaf and fluent in ASL, and I serve many Deaf clients as well as hearing clients; spoken English is my native language. Via virtual therapy, I support Deaf teens, parents of Deaf children, CODAs, and families across language modalities. I also provide supervision, consultation, and training on Deaf mental health issues.
My doctoral research focused on transgender identity development, and my practice today includes many queer, trans, nonbinary, asexual, neurodivergent, gifted, and immigrant clients. I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to the work of being a minority in a complex world.
I offer individual, couples and family therapy.
